Here’s Paul praying –  Ephesians 1:17  “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, 18 so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may perceive what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, 19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power.”

We have no little God.  And in us God has no little inconsequential human family. As Paul prays this for the Ephesians, we may pray it for ourselves and one another. The big picture, the big truth is that our lives have great potential to accomplish great things via God’s great power working through us. Great things here are not necessarily great in the eyes of the world. They are mostly more like Mother Theresa’s famous observation that “Not all of us can do great things. But we can all do small things with great love.” And love is the strongest force in the universe !
