This coming week, on July 4th, our country celebrates our hard won political freedoms. But external freedom is only possible to sustain when we experience inner freedom as well. In Romans 7 the apostle Paul describes the inner conflict within our own hearts, and minds, and souls. a war between our best selves, our best intentions, and the Sin that dwells within us. How can we experience inner freedom? “Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!”
