This week the Peace Prayer invites us to live with open hearts and open hands, promising that we can give freely and generously of ourselves because in giving, we receive! In his book, Don’t Worry. Make Money, Richard Carlson writes that “Giving is an energy that not only helps others but creates even more for the person who is doing the giving. This is a natural law that is true regardless of whether the person who is giving wants or even realizes what is occurring.” For it is in giving that we receive!
