Music

The St. Andrew’s music ministry ranges from contemporary Christian praise songs to music drawn from hundreds of years of rich church music traditions. Sometimes our handbell choir, and usually a combination of saxophone, trumpet, piano and violin accompany our choir and congregation with praise music, traditional hymns and choral anthems throughout our Sunday worship service and rehearsal Thursday evenings.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

“Our worship style is pretty traditional and that’s the way we like it – but, appropriate surprises are well received too. Laughter for us in worship is a sign of our joy in the Lord.”

“Our musical mix of historic pieces, some praise songs, traditional hymns and a great variety of instrumentation are well appreciated. Piano and organ, of course, but also violin, saxophone, trumpet and sometimes handbells all make us smile and make for a great strength at St Andrews.”
